1. Dave has worked out how to open doors. Not the head-butt or paw-pull variety, which I realise now was mere kitten 2:1 (sorry Matthew), but the full PhD in hanging off the handle and opening a properly closed door. I will never sleep past 6am again (which is when rambunction wakes me and I get up and pretend to go out to the kitchen with them and then close the door and go back to bed for a bit).

2. Collars went on for the first time tonight. We are slowly getting ready for going out in the real world. Tried proper cat collars on them but they were clearly too uncomfy (much wailing and pathetic attempts to remove), so switched to the kitten collars Iapos;d not used. They settled more quickly.

3. I am fairly certain that when I die all alone here and no-one notices Harriet will be first to go for Carpaccio of Kath. In fact, judging by current behaviour, if I oversleep I thing sheapos;ll have a go.
